Mr. M Muzafar Beigh obtained his under graduation in Biotechnology, majoring in genomics and drug designing in 2006, and graduation in Chronobiology and Neurogenetics from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore, India in 2010 and his thesis was "To understand the Gene expression of Circadian Clocks in Drosophila melanogaster and its related species". He has also worked as Research Assistant at Laval University Cancer Research Centre, Quebec City, Canada from January 2010- December 2010. He was invited by Institute of Cancer Research and Treatment, Torino, Italy as a short term fellow (Jan 2011 to March 2011) besides being Guest Researcher at Max Planck Institute of Molecular Genetics, Berlin, Germany. Currently, he is working as a Senior research fellow at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, India as well as recently being appointed Advisor Academics at Shaheen Group of Institutions, Bangalore, India. His research interest is mainly focused on understanding the public healthcare issues in developing countries and the applications of next generations sequencing tools for improving public healthcare system.
