Diabetes and Endocrine system- The Diabetes is a main Disorder of the endocrine system that produces and releases hormone which is responsible to control many important body functions. Diabetes represents problem with insulin, which is a hormone mainly important in regulating blood glucose levels.

In type 1 diabetes, the body is incapable of producing insulin; this condition is called as Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus" (IDDM) or "juvenile diabetes. The type 2 diabetes is an insulin resistance condition, in which body either produces too little insulin or doesn’t use it properly. Endocrinologists is one who provides medical management to you by prescribing insulin and/or medications, offering diet plans and helping you to keep a close watch on your blood glucose levels.
