Dr. Mutian Zhang is Associate Professor with the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Zhang received a B.S. degree in Applied Physics from Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics from Columbia University. He has been working in the fields of radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, and health physics for nearly twenty years. He has a successful history of scientific research at the Institute if High Energy Physics, Columbia University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed scholarly journals. Dr. Zhang is certified by the American Board of Radiology in
therapeutic medical physics. He is actively participating in radiation oncology clinical practice, radiological physics resident education, and radiation oncology community services. He has ample experience in editorial work and academic journal review.
