Lokman Uzun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry Division at Hacettepe University, Turkey where he received his PhD and Msc in 2008 and 2003 respectively. He is an author of more than 100 articles in peer- review journals with h-index value of 27 and one of Associate Editors of Advanced Materials Letters. He has received several honors and awards included an European Union Marie- Curie fellowship with the Biosensors and Bioelectronics Centre, Linköping University, Sweden for two years. His research interest is mainly in materials science, surface modification, affinity interaction, polymer science, especially molecularly imprinted polymers and their applications in biosensors, bio separation, food safety, and the environmental sciences.
