Dr. Erna Milunka Kojic, M.D. is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is Director of the Outpatient Infectious Diseases and Immunology Center based at The Miriam Hospital. Dr. Kojic was Principal Investigator from 2009-12 of the CDC-funded Study to Understand the Natural History of HIV and AIDS (SUN), a cohort of 700 HIV-infected men and women, and is Chair of a multicenter (USA, Brazil, South America) study of 308 HIV+ women (ACTG 5240), “a Phase II study to evaluate the immunogenicity and safety of a quadrivalent human papillomavirus vaccine in HIV-1 infected females). Dr. Kojic has received several teaching awards and routinely teaches 
medical students, residents and fellows. She also lectures nationally and internationally on topics of HPV and HIV co-infection in women.
